This is probably the most often encountered Blastoise. Ultimately, just ur standard spinner. Surf/IceBeam for coverage, Aqua Ring for recover, and Rapid Spin for blowawayedidness. Not much else to say.

Counters: Starmie will easily counter this, taking advantage of no SDef Ev's and TBolting you to the death. Any good TBolter with decent speed will KO.

Only use Substitute is running the item Life Orb, for the new in combination will help activate Torrent. Otherwise, use HydroPump. This set doesnt pack much coverage, but HP Fire or Ground will cover its obvious weaknesses. Its slowness kinda makes u wanna pass some speed to it.

Counters: Anything faster with a super effective move. Starmie, Electivire, Raichu, Breloom, etc.
